Intel vpro 2024

Sometimes we get lucky and a client allows us to run with something and be joyously playful in our approach. This was one of those ! Making work that is a genuine reflection of our stylistic taste and nostalgic of all the animated movies, comics and cartoons that we loved growing up is a real pleasure, it feels that we are speaking our language from that early age of inspiration, our stylistic soul!

Working with the creative team at Reddit we produced two short ads for Intel promoting the new vPro software in Germany. Thank you to our partners at Illo Agency for organising the project.

We at Ugly Duck are always happy to work with partners that are open to fun and playful ideas. This kind of relationship really allows the project to evolve into something that we can all be proud of.

We were playing with a super spy narrative in these videos to highlight the superior hi tech attributes of the new vPro software. We felt that an anime style would compliment this kind of sci fi retro futurism wonderfully.

These ads ran in Germany, we enjoyed composing the German typography in the videos, the German language has, on average longer words than in English so that affected our approach in composition.
